We all must have overheard a conversation on the bus, or caught a small section of a conversation as we walk past people in the office or on the street. Sometimes they can be quite funny or even very abstract as all you hear is a small snippet of the conversation.

The website ‘Overheard in New York’ is where people post those wonderful conversations they have overheard, for example like this one:

Gay man: You know how when the cops come to arrest some guy in the middle of the night, there’s always some screaming woman in bed with him?
Girl: Yeah?
Gay man: I was that woman!
